Next time you're sitting in horrific, bumper-to-bumper traffic, consider that SA's most congested city ranks at 90th for global traffic congestion.
For decades, Johannesburg has been notorious for its horrible traffic however in recent years Cape Town has grabbed the title for the most congested city in the country, according to TomTom's annual Traffic Index.
According to TomTom, motorists travelling in the mother city during peak hour traffic (morning and evening) need to add an additional 20mins per 30min trip.
