Mid-month wrap: 9 stories that can't be missed

Cape Town - The middle week of August 2016 is drawing to a close, perhaps the most polarising of articles came from the pens (read: computer ninjas) of the Wheels24 writers.

A wide variety of stories were covered that stretched from Wayde van Niekerk being all giddy to drive his brand new, 270kW car when he returns from the Olympics, to the driver demerit system that now requires the public’s input on the way forward.

Other stories that made our pick of this week’s litter include a Ford Focus RS drifting in a warehouse with drones chasing it, to us getting our sweaty palms on the Alcantra leather steering wheel of the McLaren 570S.

7. Is that a Focus RS drifting around drones? Watch 'Dronekhana'
