LONDON, England - A 1964 Ferrari 330GT Series 1, a car once described by Enzo Ferrari as his favourite model, will be a star lot at an auction in the UK in May.

It's a left-hand drive Ferrari 330GT which is expected to yield between £95 000 and £110 000 at the sale at the Silverstone racetrack and comes with Ferrari Blu Pozzi paintwork, shimmering chrome work and the original Borrani wheels! It returned from the US to the UK in 2002 and has been, the auctioneer says, scrupulously maintained.

Other Ferraris at the Silverstone sale include a 1986 Testarossa (£50 000 to £60 000), a 1974 Dino 308 GT4 (£19 000 to £23 000), a 1994 348 Spider (£27 000 to £32 000) and a 1988 412i (£15 000 to £20 000).

The sale will be on May 17. Go to Silverstone Auctions for more information.
