Everyone around the world has in some way been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Everything from sporting events to educational facilities and the daily operation of businesses have grinded to a premature halt as countries deliberate what the next steps forward are.

Slow recovery

Ferrari started to produce respirator valves and fittings for protective masks at its Maranello plant as one of its initiatives in support of health workers treating coronavirus patients.

On the local front, the likes of Volkswagen, Nissan, Peugeot and Isuzu are making sure everything from medical equipment, to masks and transport needs are well taken care of.

Patience is key

Many countries have their set of rules and guidelines put in place to further curb the spread of the virus as leaders of countries have to gradually allow the operation of certain things.

The best precautions everyone can take is to wear a mask, sanitize hands as much as possible and stay indoors to minimise the risk to yourself and those around you. Many lives have already been lost to Covid-19.

As of 4 May, most automakers will begin factory production and dealerships will start assisting customers will the strictest of measures put in place.

Just like our doctors, nurses and essential workers doing their best to curb the spread of the virus, so too are automakers coming together and lending a hand when needed the most.
