NÜRBURG, Germany - The advent of GoPro cameras has shifted the spectator into the driver's seat of many race cars.
In this latest ‘shotgun’ clip, you can ride along with nine-times World rally champion Sébastien Loeb in his Citroen WTCC car at Germany's iconic Nurburgring Nordschleife complex.
VIDEO: Ride shotgun on Loeb’s ‘Ring lap
The clip features a split-screen set-up: in-car of Loeb working the sequential shifter and going flat-out while a frontal view shows the crazy pace of the Citroen.
The reason? Well the WTCC marks its return to the Nurburgring Nordschleife and Loeb needed to put down some testing miles in his Citroën C-Elysée WTCC.
Loeb won two races and scored six podiums on his way to third in the championship in his first full season strapped in the seat of a Touring Car.
