Driver hops out of moving car, lets it roll into traffic

Rowland Heights, California - Dashcams capture some of the most amazing and often unbelievable footage.

A video uploaded to YouTube, shows a bizarre moment a female driver hopped out of her car while driving.

According to the The Sun, journalist Brian Day reported the San Bernardino (in California) driver had half-stopped her car along a major street, abandoned the vehicle and allowed it to roll into oncoming traffic.

Bizarre crash

In the video, a female driver can be seen jumping out of a 2010 Hyundai Sonata. After hopping out of the Hyundai, she can be seen casually walking away.

The Hyundai is seen crossing a centre island, causing two collisions.

According to an officer from the CHP’s Santa Fe Springs area office, the driverless Hyundai continued to the side of the road, hitting two trees along the pavement.

The Sun reported the 22-year-old woman was identified as Jasmine Lacey and was taken to a hospital for “a non injury-related reason” before officers arrived on scene, the CHP said.
