The 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producies 340kW/700Nm and will be mated to a seven-speed transmission.
'THE BEST OR NOTHING'
The automaker says its new model is the world's first vehicle with "100% LED lighting inside and out."
When your job is to deliver ''The best or nothing,'' there's only one real option — create the most innovative and refined Mercedes-Benz yet.
Mercedes-Benz's boss Dieter Zesche said: "When I was 11 years old, i thought how can I drive an S-Class without being a head of state.
"Today, I not only drive an S-Class but I'm also part of the team that builds this amazing car. It's probably one of the most demanding jobs in the whole of the automobile industry."
