After months of rumours images of Mercedes-Benz next Black Series model have finally been captured by our spy photographers - so here they are.
Caught undergoing testing at the Nürburgring in Germany, the new SLS AMG Black Series is an monstrous supercar with assertive styling to match the power under the hood.
The prototype featured in our images sports a wide body kit, modified fascia, revised side skirts and extended fenders. Note the high-performance brakes and larger rear wheels hinting at changes to the rear axle.
Under the bonnet, the model is likely to be powered by the German automaker’s 6.3 V8 capable of 477kW/677Nm.
The new model will be capable of 0-100km in 3.5 seconds and a top speed in excess of 322 km/h.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series should make its debut later in 2012 to go on sale in 2013.
