Wheels24's spy photographers have found a barely-disguised Mercedes-Benz S-Class convertible in action. It seems the automaker is basing its new cabriolet on the 2007 Ocean Drive concept - a four-door, long-wheelbase version of the S600.
Taking its folding fabric roof from the Ocean Drive, the production S-Class cabriolet will instead be a two-door.

We can also expect the new S-class convertible to feature the automaker’s Airscarf neck-warming technology, debuted in 2004 in its SLK roadster. The system pumps warm air through vents incorporated in the top of the seats. In the S-Class it will likely be pumped to all four seats.
Engine options in the S-Class convertible will likely be limited compared to the standard model, however. Expect to see a diesel and a V12.
