Mustang fans must have wondered, since Carroll Shelby diedin May 2012, if the performance version of the new Pony Car would again bear the famous Shelby badge.
Sadly, in April 2014, it became clear it would not. Instead, it will be called the Mustang SVT, named after Ford's Special Vehicle Team, the sports division responsible for the vehicle.
Spy photographers captured images of the new performance-tuned Mustang SVT being test-driven on the Nurburgring, Germany.

Compared to the standard Mustang, it will be equipped with a sports package/track package, 19" alloy rims, stiffer suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes and a diffuser.
Power is expected to increase, so expect its supercharged V8 to be tuned to more than 370kW.
