Our spies have snapped up an early prototype of Audi's new A6.
Right away we can see the new A6 is sporting a new lowered front fascia along with new headlights. New door handles and side mirrors are also present on the prototype.
The 2012 A6 will move from Volkswagen's Group C-chassis to Audi's MLB, modular aluminum chassis.
The engine range should include the supercharged 3.0l V6 engine and a new 4.0l V8 powerplant currently in development. Audi is also set to introduce a number of TDI engines to the A6 range.
Two new transmission options will be available for the new A6 – an eight-speed automatic and a seven-speed dual clutch.
