You're looking at a heavily camouflaged prototype of the next Audi A6 Allroad as it trundled through Bavaria.
Expected to be unveiled in the middle of 2012, the new A6 Allroad A6 Avant features, just like the cuirrent one, an elevated suspension, permanent all-wheel drive and wider wheel wells.
Also well-known from the old model is it’s more robust styling and a slightly revised interior. However, unlike its predecessor, the new one will be available with a much wider range of engines, including a hybrid. Later even a plug-in hybrid is possible.
Also just like on the old model customers should bear in mind that the Allroad will be, due to its unique styling and all-wheel-drive, slightly more expensive than the ordinary A6 Avant.
