Production C30 will break cover at Paris Motor Show
Volvo will unveil the C30 production model at the Paris Motor Show in September and a month later South Africans will see it at the Auto Africa show in Johannesburg.
Local sales of the C30, which will rival the Audi A3, will kick off early in 2007.
There is no official indication yet about the C30's engine range but entry-level models will probably feature a 1.6-litre unit, while the rest of the line-up will reflect that of the S40.
The range-topping model will come with the T5's 162kW unit.
