According to Auto Express the Cayman RS will be an understudy of the sensational 911 GT3 RS and as with that model it won't get a turbo-charged engine.
However, it will get a tuned version of the existing S variant's 3.4-litre unit and in the RS it will have a power output of about 250 kW. The Cayman RS will rocket from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds.
Of course the Cayman RS will be stripped from unnecessary trim and Auto Express reports that it will get special bucket seats too. Furthermore it will feature a stiffer suspension setup and improved ceramic brakes.
Porsche is expected to only build a limited numbers of Cayman RS models when it goes on sale in 2007.
