Saschin Naidoo's beastly Fords

In July 2013 Wheels24 reported that Ford celebrated the 150th anniversary of the birth of Henry Ford. Its founder's innovative ideas revolutionised transportation and brought mobility to the masses.

The anniversary of his birth is being commemorated around the world throughout 2013 so Wheels24 asked readers to send us images of their Fords.

Wheels24 reader SASCHIN NAIDOO sent us images of his Ford Focus ST and 1971 Mustang BOSS 351
and tells us about more about his vehicles:

"We are insane petrol heads and lovers of muscle cars and V8s. We have always idolised the Ford Mustang and other vintage muscle cars.

FORD FOCUS ST

My Focus ST, powered by a 2.5 turbo, was chosen as it's the contemporary "muscle" hot-hatch and has the most amazing engine sound. It's my little toy and brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. It has a few mods here and there such as the steel exhaust. My vehicle is spotless and does less than 3000km per year.

1971 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 351

We acquired our Ford Mustang in 2011. Its engine build was done from the ground up at our home with most of its parts imported from the US. Powered by 5.8 Ford Cleveland V8 it’s rated at around 260kW. Bottom line, it sounds like thunder!

CHEV, DODGE MUSCLE

In my family’s stable we have a Chevrolet Lumina 5.7 V8 with 20" wheels and a number of performance upgrades. Our next project is a Dodge Challenger or a Plymouth Road Runner - very, very rare vehicle."

In celebration of Henry Ford’s 150th birthday, send us images of your Ford. Email us and we'll publish your Ford on Wheels24.
