Sports cars in SA: Mustang, F-Type lead the way

Cape Town - The Ford Mustang remains South Africa’s favourite *sports car for the tenth consecutive month in 2017, reports Naamsa.

During October, Ford sold 61 new Mustangs to customers.

Some way off the Mustang’s figure, the Jaguar F-Type managed to find 18 new customers - also making it the only other sports car in this list to register double figure sales.

The Ferrari GTC4Lusso makes third place with a showing of three units sold. This might not seem like a big deal but considering that the GTC4Lusso has an asking price of around R7-million, it's astonishing in SA!

Another Ferrari, the 488 Spider, is in fourth on three units, followed by the Audi R8 (five units).

The Ferrari California, Nissan GT-R, and Lexus LC500 all found one new owner.
