The Ranger bakkie is by far the most popular Ford model, consistently selling more than 2000 units per month - overall , the brand has sold more than 20 000 bakkies locally.

The EcoSport is the Ranger's closest competitor within Ford's model line-up with 3996 units sold to date although the compact Figo is closing the gap with 3566 models.

Pushing the numbers

Ford's popular trio remain, the Everest, Fiesta ,and Focus, have a total tally of 3227, 3099 and 1484 respectively.

The Mustang is also doing very well and shows that people aren't scared to pay R8 000 - R10 000 a month for the iconic performance car; As of October, the current figure is 549, just two shy of the Transit.
