When it comes to buying a new car, consumers aren't afraid to splash the cash on the model they want.
The list is filled with the usual suspects as heavy-hitters like the Hilux, Ranger and Polo/Polo Vivo that dominate sales figures for the month of October.
Slight shift
Volkswagen's new T-Cross compact SUV is a newcomer to the list with and boasted an impressive 810 unit sales for September. This month though, it bettered that figure significantly with 1132 units sold during October.

It seems as though the Hilux just cannot be caught, well and truly in a league of its own. Only if you put Polo and Polo Vivo sales together does it eclipse the 4377 units posed by the popular bakkie.
The Renault Kwid is the solitary representative on the list with 1 056 sales, while the Ecosport and Ranger fly the Ford flag high with 1265 and 1806 units respectively.
