SA SUV sales | BMW X5 owns its category in October

The BMW X5 sold an impressive 128 units last month. It further cemented its position as the top-selling large luxury SUV in South Africa.

The Range Rover/RR Sport was the second best-selling SUV in October, finding favour among 83 new owners.

In third place is the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. The big Toy sold 70 units, followed by the Jaguar F-Pace on 52 units. 

A regular contender for top honours, the Toyota Prado, managed a sales figure of 49 units, ahead of the gigantic BMW X7 (33 units).

Land Rover’s Discovery did well in seventh place with 31 units sold, while the Range Rover Velar hit home with 27 units.

Volvo’s recently updated XC90 closed its account on 26 units, and the Volkswagen Touareg (13 units) completes the top ten.
