Renault sold just under 1500 cars in South Africa in the first month of 2019, with the Kwid making up close to a third of the total number.

The diminutive Kwid spearheaded Renault's January sales with over 500 units finding new homes. The French automaker came off a magnificent December 2018 sales month selling 2933 cars.

Back to 2019 and its the Sandero and Duster that contributed to January's sales. The former sold 293 and the recently-launched Duster saw 220 units sold.
