SA car sales | All-new Seltos leads Kia's sales for December 2019

A certain newcomer in the Kia stable spearheads its sales for the month of December.

After making its local debut back in November, the Seltos SUV currently sits top of Kia's log with 510 units sold, not bad for its first month where it eclipsed the Hyundai Venue but fell short of the Volkswagen T-Cross.

Aiming to build on

The Picanto has fallen off the pace in December when compared to November figures where it recorded 733 unit sales and a sluggish 385 units over the festive month.

The Korean brand will be hoping to forge ahead in 2020 and put up a strong showing against the likes of Hyundai, Volkswagen and Renault. Expect these numbers to increase as the new year gets broken into.
