Cape Town - The Toyota Rav4 came out on top as the leading compact/medium crossover in South Africa.
At the end of October 2017, the Rav4 found 916 new owners to take it to the top of its segment.
Triple figures
Behind the Rav4, the Hyundai Tucson managed to secure a sales figure of 522 units and in third place sits the Nissan X-Trail (396 units).

On 336 units the Volkswagen Tiguan makes it to fourth place, ahead of the Mazda CX-5 (283 units). The Qashqai makes the top ten for Nissan after securing 283 units this past month, followed by the Toyota C-HR on 170 units.
The Kia Sportage fills the eighth spot with 161 units, ahead of the Audi Q5 (134 units) and Renault Duster (127 units) in tenth.
