Cape Town - Toyota is leading the way in luxury SUV sales though the Jaguar Land Rover group is hot on the heels of the Japanese automaker in South Africa.
We look at some of the best-selling luxury SUVs so far in 2018.
The Prado sold a total of 436 units during the first three month of 2018, while the Land Cruiser 200 is second 428 units.
Jaguar Land Rover gives chase
The Range Rover/Range Rover Sport, one of 2017’s best-sellers, slots into third place with a total of 273 units.
The new Land Rover Discovery (265) is in fourth, ahead of the BMW X5 (260).
The all-new Range Rover Velar, launched late last year, sold 259 units; beating the recently launched Jaguar E-Pace with 68 units.
The Range Rover Evoque is in eighth place (162 units), followed by the Jaguar F-Pace (130). The Volvo XC90 is in tenth place on 116 units.
