Luxury SUVs: Here’s how many X5s BMW sold last month

Over the course of August 2019, BMW sold 118 X5s in South Africa. This popular SUV may have a selling price of more than R1-million, but it remains a favourite among the elite.

Some way down to the X5 sits the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. It sold 82 units last month, edging out its little brother, the Prado, on 73 units.

The Range Rover/RR Sport managed 68 units in fourth place.

Behind the Big 4 sits the Range Rover Velar on 41 units, ahead of the Volvo XC90 on 38 units.

In seventh place is the new BMW X7 that’s been impressing ever since coming to market a few months ago. It sold 29 units.

The Volkswagen Touareg sold 26 units in eighth place, while the Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Discovery both found 24 signatures over the course of the month.
