accreditation

The BMW X5 held the position as the top-selling large luxury SUV in South Africa for most months in 2019, but in November it was knocked off its perch by the Range Rover/RR Sport.

The Range Rover/RR Sport registered a sales figure of 85 units, one clear of the second-placed Toyota Prado on 84 units. The X5 goes third with 68 units sold.

Toyota’s big and brawny Land Cruiser 200 sold 55 units last month, the same as the Volkswagen Touareg (55 units). The Jeep Grand Cherokee is sixth on 46 units sold.

In seventh place is the beautiful Range Rover Velar on 38 units, one clear of the Land Rover Discovery on 37 units.

The Volvo XC90 sold 34 units last month to put some minor distance between it and the Jaguar F-Pace. The F-Pace sold a respectable 28 units to round off the top ten.
