Volkswagen’s Polo and Polo Vivo again topped the sales charts for passenger cars in September 2019.
For the umpteenth time this year, these two cars had the better of this category. The Vivo sold off 2540 units, while the bigger Polo managed 2326 units.
The Toyota Corolla/Corolla Quest registered 1845 sales to go third, followed by the Ford Figo (1128 units).
Renault’s Kwid sold off 956 units, ahead of another Toyota, the Yaris (925 units) in sixth position.
The Toyota Fortuner sold 918 units in seventh place. A surprise entrant is the recently-launched Volkswagen T-Cross. The newcomer managed a sales figure of a whopping 810 units during its first month of sales since launch.
Kia’s Picanto registered 775 units, while the Renault Sandero rounds out the top 10 on 721 units.
