BMW solidified its position as top luxury SUV producer, following a month in which two of its SUVs, the X5 and X3, topped their respective charts.

For large SUVs the X5 went top of the chart by a landslide, comprehensively beating the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 in a distant second place. The X5 managed to amess a sales figure of 143 units, followed by the 200 on 89 units.

The Range Rover/RR Sport takes third place on 73 units, while the Toyota Prado goes fourth on 68 units. Land Rover’s formidable Discovery sold 33 units last month, while Volkswagen’s Touareg managed 28 units.

Volvo’s XC90 goes seventh with 24 units sold, the same amount as the Jeep Grand Cherokee. A solitary unit behind these two SUVs sits the Jaguar F-Pace who makes its return to the top following its exclusion in March 2019.

The Lexus LX completes the top ten on 19 units.
