The BMW X5 showed a good return to form in February 2019 to hit the top of the list for large luxury SUV sales. The German SUV achieved 130 units to outsell the Toyota Prado in second place.
The Prado SUV managed 111 units last month, followed sibling the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 with 99 units.
The Range Rover/RR Sport achieved 92 units. In fifth place, the big and brawny Land Rover Discovery secured 46 signatures, followed by the Range Rover Velar with 43.
BMW’s X6 secured sixth place with 29 units sold, while the Volkswagen Touareg and Jeep Grand Cherokee both signed off 23 units.
The Jaguar F-Pace rounds off the top ten with 22 units.
Audi’s Q5 hits the mark
Audi’s Q5 continued to find favour with 173 new owners, while the BMW X3 slots in behind with 156 units sold last month. The Volvo XC60 goes third with 82 units sold, while another BMW, the X4, moved into fourth with a 72 units.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport sits pretty in fifth place with 55 units sold, followed by its cousin, the Jaguar E-Pace, on 50 units. In seventh place is the Volvo XC40 on 29 units, just ahead of the boutique SUV, the Range Rover Evoque, on 26 units.
Lexus’ NX again made the top ten with 21 units sold, and the Audi Q3 closes out the top ten with 13 units sold.
