Due to be unleashed next year, the Cadillac CTS Super V is powered by a 7-litre 376 kW LS7 V8 lifted directly from the Corvette Z06.
It also features custom bodywork, huge rear tyres, larger exhaust pipes and an engine sound unlike any other CTS.
General Motors SA has already hinted that the CTS in its "cooking" form, with a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine, will be coming to SA, alongside two versions of the smaller BLS.
The BLS is equipped with a 2.8-litre turbo-charged V6 petrol engine and will compete against BMW 3 Series, Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4.
However, the Super V would make a BIG statement to re-launch the brand into this country.
Note the big tailpies, the wheelarch extensions, and those VERY fat takkies!
