The new Leon Cupra will be unveiled at the British Motor Show
Cupra stands for "Cup Racing" and the nameplate is reserved for SEAT's top performance cars.
The red-hot Leon Cupra will slot in above the Leon FR and although it will also get VW's excellent turbo-charged 2-litre FSI engine it will have more muscle power.
As with the Golf GTI the Leon FR kicks out 147 kW, however, the Cupra version Cupra will apparently have a power output of about 175 kW!
A spokesperson of SEAT SA told Wheels24 that the Leon Cupra will arrive here early in 2007.
