Nun, 82, killed in horror ECape hijacking

MTHATHA, Eastern Cape - The body of a hijacked and kidnapped 82-year-old nun was found in Nangeni on Monday (June 16 2014),  Eastern Cape police reports.

A police spokesperson said: "Police found the body in a stream in the veld."

The nun was hijacked and kidnapped in Norwood, Mthatha, on Sunday (June 15 2014). Her car was seen in Mthatha by people who worked with her and they followed the car.

'TWO MEN ESCAPED'

A spokesperson said: "The police were also following the car and as the police approached the car it overturned. Two men escaped on foot and police found a 9mm pistol with five rounds and a cellphone."

No arrests have been made.
