According to Volvo the exterior as well as the interior has been upgraded and refined.

The new V8 and the upgraded five-cylinder D5 turbodiesel with particle filter are now followed by a in-line 3.2 liter six that was first introduced in the new Volvo S80.
Volvo Cars is also launching Active Bi-Xenon Light - tracking headlight beams that follow the curvature of the road.
Furthermore the Volvo XC90 now comes with BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) and in order to protect anyone standing behind the car and to aid parking, Volvo Cars is introducing the Park Assist Camera.
There is no indication yet when the new look Volvo be launched in South Africa but it could probably be at the Auto Africa Motor Show in October.
