BERLIN, Germany - Toyota is preparing what will become its eight-generation Hilux. Spy photographers captured images of the new Hilux undergoing autonomous brake tests.
The bakkie has been steadily evolving since 1968 and we expect it to continue with subtle changes in the eighth-generation. It’s been almost 10 years since the seventh-generation Hilux made its debut and thousands of fans are eagerly awaiting the new bakkie.
The 2016 Toyota Hilux will feature a more muscular, angular design. It’s been widely speculated that the redesigned Hilux will bear striking resemblance to the new Tacoma bakkie.
