The Ka will now be available in three different trim levels namely: Ambiente, Trend and Collection. All three derivatives will continue to be powered by Ford's 1.3-litre RoCam engine with a power output of 51kW.
Ka Ambiente The FordKa Ambiente fits in as the new entry-level derivative.
The Ambiente remains well equipped with standard features such as a driver airbag and ABS brakes.
According to Ford the Ambiente is identifiable by its 13-inch steel wheels and mid grey colour bumpers. Metallic paint, 14-inch alloy wheels and radio/CD with two speakers are all optional extras for the Ambiente.

Ka Trend
The FordKa Trend is the derivative we have become familiar with on South African roads.
Spec level remains the same as before, offering standard air-conditioning, full body coloured bumpers and 14-inch alloy wheels over and above the spec found on the Ambiente.
Metallic paint and radio/CD player with two speakers are on the options list for the Trend.

Ka Collection
Also new to the line-up is the FordKa Collection, which becomes the flagship of the range. The Collection is set apart by exclusive Collection decals on the B-pillar and Ka logos on the bright finish scuff plates.
Standard features on the Collection over and above the spec found on the Trend include radio/CD, power windows, central locking, electronic body colour door mirrors and a passenger airbag.
The interior is characterised by a leather trimmed steering wheel and gear knob as well as the soft feel handbrake exclusive to the Collection.
Further enhancements include; two rear adjustable headrests, a manual 4-way driver seat adjuster and front courtesy light.
