LONDON, England - More people look for a new car online at 8pm on a Monday evening than any other time during the week.

According to data from Motorpoint in England the break between the two episodes of 'Coronation Street' (a time-honoured working-class soapie) is prime-time for people to search for their next vehicle.

In 2014, Motorpoint received more than 8.43-million unique visitors to its website, up 17% year-on-year, as digital searches for replacement vehicle continues to grow. This included almost 350 people looking for cars at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
