Since the first León Cupra appeared in 2000, Seat has progressively been improving its engines so that the Cupra is SEAT's flagship brand.

Under the León Cupra's bonnet is the VW-group's 2.0 TFSI engine with a power output of 177 kW.

This means the León Cupra races from 0-100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds reaching a top speed of 247 km/h.

In terms of in-gear acceleration, the León Cupra goes from 80 km/h to 120 km/h in fifth gear in 6.4 seconds. In sixth gear, this takes 8.2 seconds. Furthermore, it covers the first 1km in only 26.4 seconds.

In order to successfully transfer all of the engine?s power to the road, the suspension elements of the León?s chassis have been adapted, while its weight has been reduced.

The power steering system has also been modified in order to give the Cupra an even sharper feel.

This hot hatch also looks the racy part with styling features such as 18-inch rims and a polished steel oval tailpipe. On the inside it also gets sporty trim.
