Three men were arrested on Friday (March 14) for alleged hijacking and possessing stolen property worth about R120 000 in Zola, Soweto, reports Gauteng police.
The men were arrested at 2.20am said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
The trio allegedly hijacked a Toyota Quantum in Booysens on Thursday (March 13), which was recovered on Friday in Zola.
STRIPPING A BAKKIE
Police allegedly found four suspects stripping a bakkie which was also hijacked in Booysens. Four men were arrested on March 13 in Jabulani, Makhubela said.
Makhubela said: "It looks like a syndicate of people who are doing this in the area."
The seven accused will appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on March 17.
