Investigators from the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office had arrested Ghosn after his private jet touched down at Haneda Airport on November 19, 2018, according to news reports by AFP earlier lastt year.
Accused of financial misconduct, including under-reporting Ghosn's salary between 2010 and 2015, thte former boss and his right-hand man Greg Kelly were detained for investigation.
