Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa has appointed Mark Kaufman as its new vice-president for marketing, sales and service.
Jeff Nemeth, president and CEO, said: “We are privileged to welcome Mark to the team. He brings a wealth of experience, in particular in developing markets, and we wish him every success ."

Kaufman has a rich history in marketing and sales. Most recently he was the marketing director for Ford South America where he led the introduction of the Ranger pick-up and more recently EcoSport. Before that he led a global marketing small-carar restructuring and improvement strategy that contributed significantly to the global success of the Ford Fiesta and the Ford Focus.
Kaufman in an American national but has worked and lived in Germany and Brazil.
