Mahindra SA parts store 'world-class'

Mahindra South Africa, which markets Mahindra and SsangYong vehicles throughout the country, believes it has improved its after-sales service with a "world class" parts distribution network.

CEO Ashok Thakur said: “Since the start of operations in 2004 Mahindra SA has focused on after-sales support. We ar among the best in the industry. This new warehouse operation in Jet Park, Ekurhuleni, is a further indicator of the focus we have on customer care.

“We've taken a one-stop approach with one of the world’s leading logistics specialists responsible for the entire supply chain - ordering, receiving, warehousing, delivery."

The new system is paperless with Mahindra and SsangYong dealersable to trackorders online. The operation, Mahindra says, is already running at a first-time supply rate of more than 90%. The target is 99.7%.

    So not true, its the worst service i have ever seen, i sent my bakkie in and it was at Mahindra for 8 weeks and all they kept saying is they are waiting for the part.......What rubbish they are saying
