DETROIT, Michigan - Lexus ranks highest in satisfaction with dealer service, according to JD Power & Associates 2013 US customer service study.

Cadillac claimed the No.2 spot, Jaguar was third. General Motors had three brands - GMC, Buick and Chevrolet - in the US top four.

Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep finished below the scoring average.

Overall, dealer service satisfaction rose 10 points (on JD Power's 1000-point scale) to 797. Three of the 11 luxury brands and five of the 19 mass-market brands have improved satisfaction by at least 20 points.

Chris Sutton, senior director at Power, said: "Manufacturers have made large investments in their retail programmes and dealers have made significant investments in key customer touch-points — people, improved processes and customer waiting areas — which are having a profoundly positive impact on their customers."

Wheels24 will be in the US from March 18 for the launch of new Lexus IS350.
