Hyundai opens giant German showroom

  • 200 sites in Europe by end of 2014
  • "Premium customer experience

FRANKFURT, Germany - Hyundai has opened Europe’s biggest showroom in Frankfurt, Germany, to showcase its new "global dealer space" identity.

It’s the first of 200 in Europe that will feature the automaker's new look by the end of 2014. Globally, Hyundai is aiming for 6000 showrooms to sport the new look by the end of 2018.

The showroom in Frankfurt, close Hyundai Motor Europe’s HQ, will be operated by new network partner Delta Automobile. It’s a double-storey building whose showroom space covers 2466 square metres; workshops cover another 2000 square metres.

NEW CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Hyundai said: “The new identity underlines the brand’s commitment to delivering greater levels of customer satisfaction and becoming the most-loved automotive brand. It goes further than the traditional car showroom by combining modern furnishings and the latest technology to enhance customers’ experiences.”

Inspired by customers, the motion of vehicles and the outdoors, the ‘EMotion Park’ design concept has bronze exterior combined with natural light that flows through the interior, resulting in, what Hyundai says, "bright, airy and sophisticated ambience".

Customers, the automaker says, will benefit from a relaxing and inspiring ambience with lounges and tablet computers giving them a new dimension in which to explore the Hyundai brand.

Byung Kwon Rhim, president of Hyundai Europe, commented: “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do so our new dealer identity has been designed around them.

“It provides a space for sales and after-sales engagement and adds a new dimension –where customers can truly experience the Hyundai brand.”
