Hammond: How to be a Top Gear presenter

Driving the latest cars around a race track, crazy stunts, drifting around a bend while uttering humourous quips about handling... every petrol head secretly want the jobs of Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

But do you have what it takes to be a presenter?

The TopGear team posted a video on YouTube showing their jobs aren't as easy as what it appears in the hit show.

In the video, Hammond shows what "really happens" behind the scenes and that driving a car while speaking to a camera isn't without risks as he crashes the Top Gear "learner" vehicle, a Vauxhall Omega, multiple times.

In the clip, he shares four important lessons:

1 Talking to the camera
2 Talking to the camera...without crashing
3 The fast drive-by
4 The big entrance.

Hammond does what the Top Gear does best - mess-up a good car for the sake of entertainment. Yes, it's scripted but still hilarious to watch.
