1. Gugu Zulu laid to rest
The South African motoring fraternity is still reeling after Gugu Zulu’s sudden and tragic passing. His funeral was held on July 28 in Johannesburg and had many in attendance, and those watching on TV, fighting to hold back the tears.

2. The Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe needs to be unleashed on SA roads
Staying in Joburg, Wheels24’s Sean Parker attended the local launch of Merc’s new C63 AMG Coupe. Parker said of the car: “The electric steering felt communicative enough and the car’s playfulness is as clear as Hlaudi Motsoeneng’s ill management.”
