Germany - The Road to World Car begins at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show with the celebration of the 2017 World Car of the Year winner – the Jaguar F-Pace.

The Road to World Car follows over 80 international automotive jurors as they test-drive eligible cars in six categories prior to voting by secret ballot in January 2018. 

Each year, the World Car Awards jurors gather in Los Angeles for a chance to drive great cars on great roads in great weather.

For 2017, 35 jurors from a dozen countries joined. They gathered at the Westin Pasadena over a five-day period, from November 26-30, to evaluate 23 eligible cars from Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Nissan, Toyota and Volvo. 

We've included a full list of eligible vehicles as well as judge's comments at the end of this article.
