Falling asleep behind the wheel is one of the most dangerous situations on the road as it poses an extreme risk to all road users.

Stress, work and not getting enough rest are just some of the contributing factors of driver fatigue behind the wheel.

Don't risk it

All it takes is a few seconds for things to go horribly wrong. There have been a few cases in South Africa where drivers fell asleep behind the wheel with fatal consequences.

Making sure you have enough rest, even if you have to pull over somewhere is a preventative measure. Having someone else that can drive when you feel tired can make the difference as well.
