Car 'classes' can be a bit of a headache to understand for those with a lesser interest in cars.

Car acronyms is on thing, but body styles is another matter all on it's own, especially if you don't know much about cars.

Coupes are usually the car type name given to two-door, hard top vehicles, or sports cars. 

Crossovers have a mix styling of a hatchback with rugged SUV looks, while Convertibles are cars which can be driven with the roof down or up.

Saloons or four-door sedans are great for longer distances and come with a large cargo area, and Estates are what we used to as Station wagons - elongated hatchbacks with large boots.
