Cape Town - For the twelve month in succession, the Ford Mustang topped the list as South Africa's best-selling sports car.
The Mustang secured a sales figure of 44 units. It is fewer cars than what is usually achieved, but it is indicative of the tough month it has been overall.

The Jaguar F-Type was again the only sports car other than the Mustang to register a double-digit sales figure. Albeit only just. The F-Type managed to secure the interest of ten new buyers, with some of that interest coming from the recently launched F-Type with a 2.0-litre engine.
Audi's supercar, the R8, found a solid nine new owners in third place.
Ferrari also threw its name in the December hat with four of its vehicles making the list.
The GTC4Lusso registered three new sales in fourth place, as did the 488 Spider, and 488 GTB.
The Lexus LC500 secured two new signatures in seventh place, and the Ferrari California one new owner in eighth place.
