With most of South Africa experiencing extremely cold and wet weather conditions at the moment, the use of wiperblades and heaters are at an all time high.

Countries like Sweden and Canada experience copious amounts of snow every winter which can prove to be even worse than the heaviest of rain.
To solve this dilemma, some manufacturers installed a cool feature in their luxury models - headlight wiperblades.
When driving in wet conditions, a car's headlights can become susceptible to the accumulation of dirt over time and water evaporation which leaves behind a coating of dirty film.
BMW also had a function where a nozzle intergrated into the upper part of the front bumper sprayed windshield washer fluid onto the headlight cover.
This impacts headlight funtionality over time and can result in the the bulb itself shining weaker on the road, which reduces its shining distance.
Maybe you might have seen an old Alfa Romeo or BMW and thought it was the owner that tried their own modification on the car.
