The Formula 1 season might have concluded but it was packed with exciting moments and a bit of controversy.

It was Mercedes' driver Lewis Hamilton who came out on top to clinch his fifth championship title as he wrote himself into the history books alongside greats like Michael Schumacher and Juan Manuel Fangio.

Moments to remember

Then Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo provided probably some of the most memorable moments of the season. His victory in the Chinese GP prompted him to pour champagne into his shoe and drink it.

The 'not-so-good' moment came when short-tempered Red Bull driver Max Verstappen had a physical altercation with Force India's Esteban Ocon after they came together during the Brazilian grand prix. Also known as 'Mad Max', the Dutch driver is known for his short fuse and aggressive driving style.

It also remains to be seen how long Valtteri Bottas will play econd fiddle to Lewis Hamilton. He was called a "sensational wingman" by Mercedes chief Toto Wolff after Hamilton's Hungarian grand prix win.

There was also that time when Will Smith 'kidnapped' Lewis Hamilton.
